TEHRAN – The behavior of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf implies that they are going to run for the upcoming presidential elections, a former minister says.

Reza Taqipour, minister of ICT under Ahmadinejad, told ISNA in an interview published on Monday that he may not consider Ahmadinejad’s candidacy as “expedient”, but “Qalibaf is one of the successful officials of the Islamic Republic.”
